Carnivore Meat Company is voluntarily recalling a limited amount, 73 cases, of Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Beef Nibblets Entrée for Dogs because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Affected products can be identified by comparing the following lot number: “Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Beef Nibblets Entrée for Dogs” with “Lot #13753” .
The problem was discovered when the Michigan State Department of Agriculture selected and tested product from a single batch that was produced at the end of a single production day. In an abundance of caution, and as a precautionary measure, we have chosen to withdraw the item listed above. There have been no customer complaints reported.
No other Vital Essentials product manufactured by Carnivore Meat Company is involved in this recall.
If you have any recalled product in inventory, please discard immediately in a covered trash receptacle, in a safe manner. We will issue credit for disposed items as a result of this voluntary recall.
